How to Unlock Every Crimson Moon Achievement — Per-Achievement Tips
Per-achievement unlock tips for Crimson Moon — parries, Angel Mode, the Hellish run, Blacksmith upgrades, scroll and soul grinds, grounded in verified systems.
The one-visit unlocks
Four achievements are effectively guaranteed the first time you touch their system:
- Meet Mereda — complete the “Librarian Briefing” quest. Mereda is the Librarian of Sanctus Clypeus; the quest is an early hub interaction, and 89.9% of players own it.
- Gajov Make Strong — upgrade any weapon or shield at the Blacksmith to rare or higher. One rare+ upgrade is enough; Gajov Resnyk is the achievement-verified Blacksmith of the hub.
- Let’s Nexus — complete 3 Nexus Gate Objectives. Nexus Gates appear mid-hunt and offer temporary-Boon choices; three objective completions across any number of runs count (how gates reshape a run: the builds guide).
- Prologue — complete the Prologue mission in death or victory — the description explicitly counts either outcome.
Combat and skill achievements
- Perfect Parry — one perfect parry, ever (70.2% own it). The tutorial-boss layer of the game teaches the parry timing; it does not need to be in a boss fight.
- Angelic — trigger Angel Mode 5 times. The official achievement text names the mechanic “Angel Mode” — the same term Game Informer’s hands-on used for the transformation state. Five triggers across all play count; the transformation guide covers when spending it is worth it.
- No Deaths — complete a District Mission without losing a life. Dynamic difficulty scaling is per-mission, so a lower-difficulty clean run is a legitimate path — see how runs work.
- Hellish — complete a District Mission on Hellish difficulty or higher. The official description (typo included) is “Complete a District Missions on Hellish difficulty or higher” — confirming Hellish as a named tier and, by “or higher”, implying at least one tier above it. Higher settings pay greater rewards per the same difficulty system.
Location and story achievements
Five locations, five achievements, each completed by clearing the location — full boss context in the Ward structure:
- The Forsaken Streets → Warden guide
- Archspire Cathedral → Cardinal Mathias guide
- Ramshorn Keep → Tyrigon guide
- Shoreditch (Complete Shoreditch Prison) → Shoreditch is platform-trophy-confirmed but has no boss guide yet
- Elk Grove Academy → Egregore guide
Plus the hidden story set — Victory (a Full Run, solo or co-op), the three Abraxas Stones (acquired 1st/2nd/3rd), and Completionist (all primary missions and bosses across runs — replaying is allowed by the wording, which suits the run-based structure). Details: the hidden achievements page.
The grinds — what counts and what doesn’t
All of these are cumulative across runs per their official wording — no single-run requirement except where stated:
| Achievement | Target | Owned by |
|---|---|---|
| Slayer | 100 kills | 54.6% |
| Infernal Slayer (hidden) | 1000 kills | 1.8% |
| Blessed | Collect and purify 50 items | 45.6% |
| Lore Champion | 50 lore scrolls | 11.1% |
| Great Soul Reclaimer | 100,000 total souls | 0.1% |
| Fully Loaded | Rare+ in every equipment slot during one run | 18.1% |
- Blessed requires the full loop — find the item and purify it into your permanent collection. Items looted but lost to a failed run don’t match the description’s “collect and purify”.
- Lore Champion: scrolls feed Mereda’s scroll-for-Boons exchange — grab every scroll mid-run even if the achievement isn’t your goal.
- Great Soul Reclaimer is the rarest achievement at 0.1%. Souls are a total-lifetime counter per the description (“total souls”) — no verified source publishes per-run soul rates, so no farm route is invented here.
- Fully Loaded is the only single-run grind: rare-or-better in all nine equipment slots during one run. The nine slots: four armor pieces, two trinkets, one-handed weapon + shield, two-handed weapon.
Level achievements
Level 5 → 10 → 20 → 30 (60.2% / 31.5% / 3.4% / 1.1%) come with total progression — the level-30 wall is the same endgame accumulation that gates the rarest grinds. Everything else being equal, co-op play doesn’t change the level track: progression carries across both modes per the co-op guide.
Slay Together
Finish one mission in co-op — any mission, one completion (42.0%). Co-op is two-player online; nothing in the description requires the whole game in co-op. The co-op guide covers revives and role division.
